what is this and what’s the point of it?

organica is a free weekly newsletter about poetry, creativity, and other things from ryan aliapoulios (me) and guests. it will include a lot of poems, but also reviews, essays, illustrations, experiments, and cross-pollinations of various recent obsessions across disciplines.

organica aims to be a polyculture, and as such it is pro-wandering in the interest of arriving at interesting places organically and spontaneously—by seeding many disparate, fascinating ideas in the same patch and letting them flourish.

what will I get out of it?

5 minutes of fun to brighten your morning, fuel to be a better conversationalist, fodder for weekly trivia nights, a better grasp of poetry, creative inspiration for your next project, and so on.
